Work in teams of 2–3 from the same year group to take on an exciting career challenge. Each team will randomly select a career from a lucky dip, meaning you could explore anything from a familiar profession to something completely unexpected. Your mission is to create a visually engaging presentation showing what the job is like day-to-day, the education pathways required, the skills needed, the pros and challenges, and what the future of the career may look like. Use creativity, teamwork, and research skills to bring your assigned career to life.

Education options alongside diving. Two part series focusing on navigating, approaches and options to studying in the Australian system and the US NCAA system.
Diving Australia and the AIS invite athletes, parents and coaches to a two-part careers session on the Australian and USA college pathway for divers. This session will explore Aust pathways and how Australian pathways align with US opportunities, the importance of balancing sport and study, and what the NCAA environment looks like. Hear from current athletes and a US college coach about recruitment, expectations, key challenges and lessons learned. The session concludes with Diving Australia support options and a Q&A.

Wellbeing science and Career Development Learning- Incorporating wellbeing science and priming positive emotions to enhance student success and engagement
This session shares the design and impact of a career development intervention built to enhance career readiness, wellbeing, and student satisfaction by embedding an evidence-based wellbeing assessment tool into the third year Public Health Practicum curriculum at Griffith University. Results suggest that integrating wellbeing principles into career learning not only boosts engagement but also deepens students’ overall learning experience.
