Yarning is a culturally embedded practice for many First Nations people. It is grounded in relational philosophies of engagement with the world around us. Yarning goes deeper than ‘class discussion’. Explore myfuture’s new First Nations lesson plans with our Career Education Manager, Tracy Ryan. This is a package of connection lessons and activities including teacher and concept notes that can be used in full or part to support career educators across Australia to connect with their First Nations students and families.

The transition from school to work can be overwhelming for many autistic young people. myWay Employability Plus is an online platform that guides users through a strengths based process for exploring careers and setting goals. Co designed with autistic individuals and informed by research, it follows five employability principles, including person centred planning. This webinar highlights how strengths aligned work experiences support transition planning and offers practical strategies for educators and supporters.
