The Naval Shipbuilding College is an unprecedented approach to ensuring Australia and industry have the workforce required to sustain a sovereign shipbuilding industry. Thousands of skilled and professional people are required, including trades, program and project managers, purchasing, quality, designers, quality, engineering, logistics and professional support roles.
We have established a training and education provider network in every state and territory of Australia and are endorsing courses at TAFE and university partners to ensure graduates leave with the skills required by industry and contribute to a sustainable pipeline of appropriately skilled workers.
Through the Workforce Register, the Naval Shipbuilding College undertakes comprehensive candidate screening and provides a transitional career pathway for our pool of skilled employment candidates ensuring they are ‘job ready’ for their chosen career in the Australian shipbuilding industry. We also provide weekly updates on current employment opportunities and tailored advice on appropriate training and education pathways that can lead to rewarding careers within the Enterprise.
